2. Return Eligibility

2.1 General Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The return request must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the product
  • Products must be in their original condition, unused, and undamaged
  • All original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories must be included
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided
  • Products must not show signs of wear, installation, or modification

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

Certain products and services are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-made or personalized items created to your specifications
  • Products that have been used, installed, or assembled
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Perishable goods or items with hygiene seals that have been opened
  • Design consultation services that have been rendered
  • Gift cards or vouchers

3. Return Process

3.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your product
  • Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return
  • Wait for our team to review your request and provide return authorization
  • Once authorized, you will receive return instructions and a return authorization number

Please do not return products without first obtaining return authorization. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.

3.2 Packaging and Shipping

When returning products:

  • Pack items securely in their original packaging or suitable alternative packaging
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation that came with the product
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation or receipt
  • Write the return authorization number clearly on the outside of the package
  • Use a trackable shipping method and retain proof of shipment

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (such as receiving a defective or incorrect product). We recommend using insured shipping, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

3.3 Return Address

Returns should be sent to the address provided in your return authorization email. Do not send returns to our studio address unless specifically instructed to do so.

4. Refunds

4.1 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed according to the following timeline:

  • Inspection and approval: 3-5 business days after receiving the return
  • Refund processing: 5-10 business days after approval
  • Bank processing time: Additional 3-7 business days depending on your financial institution

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If you paid by credit card, the refund will appear as a credit on your card statement. If you paid by bank transfer, we will need your bank account details to process the refund.

4.2 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Products showing obvious signs of use or minor damage
  • Products returned without original packaging or accessories
  • Products returned more than 14 days after delivery (at our discretion)

The amount of the partial refund will be determined based on the condition of the returned product and may include deductions for depreciation, missing items, or damage.

4.3 Refund Exclusions

The following costs are not refundable:

  • Original shipping charges (unless the return is due to our error)
  • Return shipping costs
  • Installation or assembly fees
  • Customization or personalization charges
  • Gift wrapping or special packaging fees

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, you must return the original product for a refund and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures that you receive the correct product promptly and allows us to process your request efficiently.

If you received a defective or incorrect product, please contact us immediately, and we will arrange for a replacement at no additional cost to you.

6. Damaged or Defective Products

6.1 Reporting Damage or Defects

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. To report damage or defects:

  • Contact our customer service team immediately
  • Provide your order number and detailed description of the issue
  • Include clear photographs showing the damage or defect
  • Retain all original packaging and materials

6.2 Resolution Options

For damaged or defective products, we will offer one of the following solutions:

  • Full refund including original shipping costs
  • Replacement product shipped at no additional charge
  • Repair or restoration of the product (if applicable)
  • Partial refund or store credit (if you wish to keep the product)

We will cover all return shipping costs for damaged or defective products and will provide prepaid shipping labels when necessary.

7. Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect product due to our error, we will:

  • Arrange for the return of the incorrect product at no cost to you
  • Ship the correct product to you immediately
  • Refund any price difference if the correct product costs less
  • Cover all shipping costs associated with the error

Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving an incorrect order so we can resolve the issue promptly.

8. Service Cancellations and Refunds

8.1 Design Consultation Services

For design consultation and styling services:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment: Full refund
  • Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the appointment: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment: No refund
  • No-shows without prior notice: No refund

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional charge.

8.2 Design Projects

For ongoing design projects:

  • Cancellations before work begins: Full refund minus any non-refundable deposits
  • Cancellations after work has commenced: Refund of unused portion based on work completed
  • Completed work is non-refundable

We will provide a detailed breakdown of work completed and charges incurred upon request.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  • Check your bank account or credit card statement again
  • Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times vary
  • Contact us with your order number and refund details

We will investigate the status of your refund and work with you to resolve any issues. Please allow sufficient time for processing before contacting us, as refunds can take several weeks to appear depending on your financial institution.

10. International Returns

For customers outside Finland:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error
  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees incurred during return shipping
  • International returns may take longer to process due to customs clearance
  • We recommend using insured, trackable shipping methods for international returns

11. Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees for standard returns that meet our return eligibility criteria. However, restocking fees may apply in the following circumstances:

  • Large or bulky items requiring special handling: Up to 15% of purchase price
  • Custom orders that are returned due to customer preference (not defects): Up to 25% of purchase price
  • Returns of opened or used products (at our discretion): Up to 20% of purchase price

Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted from your refund amount and will be communicated to you before the refund is processed.

12. Store Credit

As an alternative to a refund, you may choose to receive store credit for the full value of your return (including shipping costs). Store credit:

  • Can be used for future purchases on our website
  • Does not expire
  • Is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Will be issued as a unique code sent to your email address
